Citing Sources
We have learned many things so far this year in computer class. We have learned about how technology has changed throughout the years and has made things easier for us. We have learned about ergonomics, components of a website, interent safety, cyber communication, netiquette, and how to search for something on the internet. We sent emails to our teachers and are working on our typing skills.
Next we will begin talking about copyright laws and citing our sources.

Progress Reports
2nd Quarter Progress Reports will go home on Monday, November 29, 2010.
All assignments for 2nd quarter need to be turned in before Friday, November 19, 2010 in order to be included on the 2nd quarter Progress Reports. Any assignments not turned in before November 19th will show up as a missing assignment and be counted as a zero on the progress report.

Mulitiple Choice Homework
The multiple choice homework can be completed on the worksheet provided or by going to this link for 2-8th grader. Go to this link for 1st graders.

Monday, November 1, 2010 will be the start of our yearbook raffle.
Tickets will be sold through Friday, November 5, 2010.
Tickets are 50 cents each. Buy as many tickets as you would like.
The drawing will take place on Monday, November 8, 2010.
There will be many prizes. The grand prize will be a COLOR Yearbook!

Yearbook Time Again
This year the yearbooks will be in COLOR. Pre sales are on now. We are currently having an "early bird" special. If you purchase a yearbook BEFORE winter break, the yearbooks will cost $15.00. If you purchase a yearbook AFTER winter break, the yearbooks will cost $20.00.
In November, there will be a yearbook raffle. Raffle tickets will cost $0.50 each. You may purchase as many raffle tickets as you want. The grand prize will be a free yearbook. If you already purchased a yearbook, your money will be refunded. There will water bottles filled with goodies also, so there will be more than one name drawn.
